Java Network Programming around Google

Google is supplying amazing features normally associated with the desktop.
It would be cool to try and compare the exercises response times with those with Google features.

Why JAVA

JAVA is getting faster, is portable , and is not bound to any particular platform. Though there may be many who would argue against that last point. S'truth it probably is the language that runs on most platforms.
